Role summary
This role is for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient therapy service on the Stroke Unit at Southend Hospital. Job summary
Here at MSE, we are committed to providing a supportive environment for the development of Occupational Therapists. Our Southend Hospital department operates an integrated therapy service, where Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists work alongside each other in a variety of the clinical areas. The culture of multi-disciplinary working is well established and respected within the hospital.
We are currently looking for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient patient therapy service working on the Stroke Unit. This position offers the opportunity to develop clinically and managerially in a fast paced environment working within our established Inpatient Therapy Team.
Our Inpatient Therapy Team is led by our Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist with the support of Band 7 Team Leaders who are highly experienced in their fields. We have regular Occupational therapy team meetings and actively encourage CPD.
In return we offer training and clinical development opportunities with a comprehensive in-service training program and regular clinical supervision. We also provide additional support in order for staff to attend recognised courses within the area of the post to support staff development. The Therapy Team is also committed to
