This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Lead Clinical Educator to join the Neonatal Service within the Family Health Care Group. - Demonstrates a working knowledge of CQC Core Standards
- Development of clinical pathways / guidelines
- Registered nurse/midwife with active NMC registration
- Must be QIS/NNU qualified
- Evidence of further professional development
- Experience of ward management, leadership, training/skills
- Degree or equivalent and a willingness to work towards Masters level degree
- Mentorship qualification
- Coaching certificate
- Leadership qualification
- Teaching qualification (PG Certificate Practice Education or equivalent)
- Or willingness to work towards
- Able to exercise professional accountability and responsibility
- Able to be a Practice assessor or Supervisor assessor in the clinical setting
- Experience of running training programmes
- Knowledge of human factors and how they influence clinical practice Experience of delivering clinical education and development activities
- Mentor experience with knowledge of mentorship and education
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience in management of change

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Neonatal Service as a Lead Clinical Educator on a 12-month fixed-term contract , with the potential for extension beyond 12 months to cover a secondment within the service.
As part of the senior nursing team within the Family Health Care Group , you will be responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining education and training programmes for the neonatal workforce, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and professional development.
