Role summary
This role involves leading the development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of practice learning environments for nursing, midwifery, and allied health professional learners. The Senior Practice Learning Facilitator will support high-quality placements, guide practice supervisors and assessors, and design and deliver education to enhance learning in practice. Key responsibilities
- Lead on the development, quality assurance and continuous improvement of practice learning environments.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate NMC or HCPC registrant to join the Professional Education and Development Team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Senior Practice Learning Facilitator (PLF). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting learners, registered staff and clinical teams across one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. The role has grown and developed since August 2023, and we would like to make it a permanent part of our structure.
As a Senior Practice Learning Facilitator, you will lead on the development, quality assurance and continuous improvement of practice learning environments for nursing, midwifery and allied health professional learners across the Leeds placement circuit. Working in line with professional, regulatory and quality standards, you will support the delivery of high-quality placements that enable learners to thrive and achieve their full potential.
