Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Radiographer to undertake the role of X-ray Team Manager within our busy and dynamic Imaging Service at St James's University Hospital. This is a key leadership position combining clinical expertise, operational management, workforce leadership and service development. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the acute 24/7 General Radiography service, supporting the delivery of high-quality imaging for the Emergency Department, inpatient wards and outpatient services.

St James's Hospital provides a high-volume and diverse range of imaging services, supporting emergency, trauma, specialist and elective care pathways across one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. The department is currently undergoing significant investment, including departmental redesign and installation of new imaging equipment, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to service modernisation and future service development. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to work closely with the Lead Radiographer and existing Team Managers to provide leadership across General Radiography services, contributing to service transformation and helping shape the future of imaging services within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
