Role summary
This full-time role involves assisting in the efficient management, receipt, and distribution of materials for OSCCA at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The post holder will work closely with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of supplies and equipment, supporting high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include stock replenishment, maintaining accurate records, and using computer systems for inventory management. Cross-site cover may be required to meet service needs.
Essential criteria
- English and Mathematics Qualification at GSCE Grade 4/C or equivalent qualification/experience
- IT experiences in Microsoft office Suite, particularly email/excel and spreadsheets
- NVQ 3 in Health Care Support or equivalent or be willing to work towards
- Theatre Supplies Experience
- Working knowledge of recognised Electronic Materials Management Systems including Web Basket and Electronic Demand Capture interface links within NHS Supply chain
- Application of stock control software and stock review including supply chain evaluations, including interpretation of RIU reports (Back up Reports
- Evidence of supporting the implementation of new products and change within the unit, led by BAND 3 Supervisors and Theatres Supplies Manager

A full time opportunity has arisen for a Materials Management Assistant to join our team at the Royal Hallamshire hospital.

- Assist with stock checks, inventory control, and the investigation of stock discrepancies.
