Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and clinically skilled nurse to join the new clinic nursing team at the North Manchester Breast Unit. The successful candidate will provide holistic nursing care in consultant and nurse-led clinics, with knowledge of breast care being desirable. Responsibilities also include managing daily post-operative and acute dressings clinics, assessing and implementing care plans, and facilitating aseptic procedures in a radiological setting, requiring knowledge of acute and chronic wounds.

Essential criteria
- RGN
- Evidence of CPD in relevant specialty
- Evidence of Level 6 studies
- Qualified to function as mentor for preregistration learners.
- relevant post registration experience within relevant clinical setting
- Evidence of professional leadership, leading to innovation in practice.
- Evidence of multi-disciplinary/multi agency working
Desirable criteria
- Appropriate management or leadership courses.
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Experience of clinical audit.
- Experience of research activities
- Experience of quality improvement

Job summary
We are excited to be able to advertise for enthusiastic caring and clinically skilled nurses to join our new clinic nursing team here at North Manchester Breast Unit.
The successful candidates will be part of a team of clinical breast nurses who are central to the delivery of high level of patient care within the multiple breast clinics. Support will be given by a senior team of specialist breast care nurses.
Main duties of the job
This clinical role involves providing holistic nursing care in both our Consultant and nurse led clinics, knowledge of breast care is therefore desirable.
