Role summary
This role is for a Therapy Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) specializing in Frailty/Care of the Elderly, working 22.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for approximately 12 months. The successful candidate will support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists on acute wards at Leighton Hospital, assisting with patient assessments and carrying out agreed treatment plans. The position requires excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a commitment to contributing to a seven-day service.
Essential criteria
- Acute ward experience
- Worked as a Band 3 therapy assistant for 12 months or more
- Worked in the NHS for at least 12 months
