Role summary
This role is for an Adult Speech and Language Therapist to join a friendly team in the Isle of Man. Main duties of the job
This is a varied clinical role which involves working in both acute and outpatient settings. This will include domiciliary visits within care homes and within service users own homes. You will be an autonomous practitioner responsible for the assessment, diagnosing and management of adult patients referred with communication and/or swallowing disorders associated with neurological disorders, trauma, voice disorders and stammering. You will also use evidence-based/client-centred principles to implement and evaluate Speech and Language intervention. You will be supported to work towards attaining your dysphagia competencies as required, and will receive excellent clinical supervision and support.
