Role summary
This role is for a Band 3 Assistant Audiology Practitioner based at Northwick Park Hospital, working across three main hospital sites. Key responsibilities
- See patients for routine hearing aid repair and maintenance, making necessary adjustments and taking impressions.
- Order and maintain Audiology stock across all sites, including auditing stock levels.
- Carry out administrative duties such as scanning referrals, checking email inboxes, and responding to or forwarding emails.
- Ensure clinical equipment is calibrated, decontaminated, and maintained according to protocols.
- Assist with clinical supervision and training of junior staff and students.
- Update professional knowledge on new digital hearing aid technology and clinical practice.

We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Assistant Audiology Practitioner based at Northwick Park Hospital. You will be working cross site across the three main hospital sites, Central Middlesex, Ealing and Northwick park hospital. The position is for 24 months fixed term to cover a substantive role while the individual is on secondment.

You will be an enthusiastic individual with demonstrable experience of working in healthcare environments, with a warm personality and great people skills.
The post holders will be well-motivated and innovative, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage both time and workload. They will be responsible for providing Adult audiology hearing aid repairs and stock control
You should have GCSE English and Maths grade C or above; with demonstrable experience of working in healthcare environments.
