Role summary

Essential criteria
- *GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- *NVQ level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) and BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science
- Or
- Accredited Dispensing Assistants Course
- *Evidence of previous work experience relevant to the position such as warehouse or stores, reception duties etc
- *Evidence of experience within a team environment
- *Experienced in customer relations
- *Understanding of Health and Safety at Work, manual handling and COSHH
- *Understanding of dispensing, stock control and supply systems and processes
- *Previous experience within a pharmacy setting
- *Knowledge of hospital environment
- *Knowledge of pharmacy environment
- *Understanding of pharmacy related computer systems
- *Experience in staff training
- *Experience working in an aseptic services setting
