Job summary
This exciting Administrative Officer role sits within Women's Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and provides vital administrative and clerical support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. Based at St James's University Hospital, you will work closely as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.
This is a fixed-term role for 12 months.
The role provides comprehensive administrative support across the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining databases and action trackers, typing clinic letters, and supporting with the timely booking of clinics in line with the effective management of patient pathways. The successful postholder will be expected to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service.
Previous administrative experience is essential and experience within the NHS or healthcare environment would be advantageous.
