Role summary

This role supports the promotion of a Quality Improvement (QI) culture across the Trust by delivering training and providing advice for QI projects. The post holder will design and deliver QI training programmes to upskill staff and embed a culture of continuous improvement. They will advocate for QI initiatives, tools, and methodologies, ensuring engagement from all stakeholders including service users, patients, carers, and staff. The role involves working collaboratively with the QI Hub team to identify training needs and support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes.

Essential criteria

  • Awareness of quality improvement and/or service improvement from a QSIR, Flow Coaching or similar service improvement methodology perspective or willing to work towards post graduate education in QI
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working in a health and care setting
  • Experience of delivering training

  • Experience of Quality Improvement and Service Redesign Methodologies delivered/ applied in a healthcare setting

Job summary

This is a fixed term contract until March 2028. The hours of work are 15 per week.

The QI Hub provides the strategic direction and facilitation for cultural change in embedding QI, maximising the effectiveness of leaders, managers and supervisors across the Trust, and ensuring the delivery of a fair and inclusive culture, which supports staff health and wellbeing and in which staff feel valued and motivated. It encourages an environmentwhere people can learn.
