Key responsibilities
- Assist the OH Senior Clinic Nurse in the day to day management and provision of OH services.
- Manage and prioritise own workload in the day to day delivery of OH services.

- Follow Trust Medicines policy and departmental policies for safe storage, administration and disposal of immunisation/medication.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse (Pt 1/12)
- Significant post qualification experience including in acute NHS hospital settings
- Demonstrates sound understanding of personal and professional accountability
- Ability to work to challenging timescales and produce effective results
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
- Demonstrates excellent team working
- Demonstrates a desire to explore new ways of delivering services
- Excellent oral, written and inter personal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate and support learning in practice
- Good IT Skills including use of Microsoft office and outlook e-mail.
- Demonstrates ability to place client at centre of care.
- Competent venepuncture skills
- Competent vaccination / injection skills e.g. intramuscular injections
Desirable criteria
- Occupational Health experience
- Experience of delivering teaching sessions and presentations.
- Knowledge of immunisation programmes
- Knowledge of health promotion programmes
- Demonstrates ability to think laterally, creatively and innovatively to enhance client care
