Role summary
The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist to join their Therapies team. This role involves working within respiratory rotations, including Critical Care, Surgical Wards, Medicine, Emergency Therapy Team, Frail Elderly, Palliative, and Cystic Fibrosis. The successful candidate will develop leadership and management skills, enhance clinical expertise, and contribute to a 7-day shift system. Supervision and continuous development are provided.
Essential criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Registered with HCPC
Desirable criteria
- CPD relevant to acute respiratory and discharge planning
- Minimum of 18mths graduate experience as a physiotherapist
- Experience gained within an acute NHS setting
- On-call competent
- Skills & Knowledge
- Experience of supervising staff
- Clinical Educator
- Experience with Audit or Project management
- Experience of clinically managing an acute caseload.

The Therapies Team at UHNM are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to work within respiratory rotations. This is a rotational experience in Critical Care, Surgical Wards & SSCU, Medicine including NIV, Emergency Therapy Team which includes Accident & Emergency and Acute Assessment Unit, Frail Elderly, Palliative and Cystic Fibrosis.
Applicants will need to have on-call competencies and be experienced in working in a variety of respiratory areas within an NHS setting.
