Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic nurse to join the Clinical Haematology Specialist Nurse Team. Key responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical nursing care to patients with haematological conditions.
- Assess patient needs, develop, and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer treatments including blood transfusions, iron infusions, and other haematological therapies.
- Offer patient education and support regarding treatment options, self-management strategies, and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring best practices and evidence-based care are followed.
- Take the lead in coordinating complex patient cases and act as a point of contact for patients and families.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic nurse to join our Clinical Haematology Specialist Nurse Team.
As a Haematology Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a range of non-malignant haematological conditions. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will support patients throughout their treatment journey, promoting health, wellbeing and positive patient outcomes.
The role covers, inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory day ward settings. The successful candidate will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for patients with a variety of haematological conditions, including thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) and other non-malignant haematology conditions. You will provide specialist support and education to patients and carers, whilst contributing to the ongoing development of the service and maintaining high standards of clinical care.
