Role summary
This role is for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a 19-bedded rehabilitation unit in Thornbury. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting service users recently discharged from acute hospitals through assessment and rehabilitation. The position involves encouraging rehabilitation techniques and providing feedback on service users' progress to help them achieve their maximum potential. You will benefit from the expertise of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.In post, you will be supporting the therapy team through managing our service users who have been recently discharged from an acute hospital setting and are undertaking a period of assessment and rehabilitation.
Our goal is to ensure our service users and their families have the best experience being supported by us through excellent communication and initiative.

Main duties of the job
- Promote optimum independence through encouraging rehabilitation techniques.
