Base: Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Imaging Manager to lead and manage Radiology services across NHS Dumfries and Galloway. This is a key senior leadership role within the Acute and Diagnostics Directorate responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, effective and efficient imaging services for patients across the region.
Radiology services are provided across Dumfries and Stranraer supported by:
· 1.5T MRI scanner
· three 128-slice CT scanners (2 x DGRI & 1 x Stranraer)
· fluoroscopy suite
· non-obstetric ultrasound scanners x 5
· breast imaging suite
· four general rooms
· DEXA scanner
· mobile theatre image intensifiers.
Nuclear medicine is not currently available locally and patients are referred to Carlisle or Edinburgh.
