Role summary
This role is for an experienced Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist with stroke and/or neuro experience to join the neuro rehab team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide specialist stroke therapy to optimise quality of life, assessing and managing a varied caseload on the stroke unit. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and receive professional supervision.
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 2 years NHS experience post qualification
- Experience of service development
- Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Range of postgraduate experience across core areas in an acute setting
- Experience of working with stroke and/or neurological conditions
Desirable criteria
- Experience of supervising students
- Experience of qualified staff / unqualified staff
- Additional
- Evidence of neuro-specific CPD from internal and external courses
- Desire to work at Salisbury Foundation Trust
- Desire to work with stroke/neurological conditions

Due to increased funding for stroke intensity rehabilitation we are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to working as part of our neuro rehab team providing specialist stroke therapy to optimise quality of life.
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist with Stroke and/or Neuro experience to join the Stroke team. The role will be based on the stroke unit within Salisbury hospital assessing and managing a varied caseload including a range of neurological conditions within this specialised area.
Professional and specialist supervision is available from senior members of staff, and successful candidates will be working closely with all areas of the MDT.
