Role summary
This role involves providing clinical interventions for designated patients, covering both physiotherapy and occupational therapy, within the scope of practice. - Working knowledge of medical conditions commonly seen within Health Care area e.g. Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Orthopaedic conditions, Diabetes, amputations, Multiple Sclerosis etc and how this impacts on the patient
- Skills and Abilities
- Evidence of extended competencies especially with patients in the community
- Experience of working within a pressured environment
- Good verbal and written communication
- Experience with S1

Job summary
Urgent Community Response
To provide clinical interventions to designated patients, both physio and occupational therapy, within scope of practice, on behalf of qualified practitioners within the multidisciplinary team. To supervise and delegate work to more junior staff within the team. To be involved in service development to include delivering training as appropriate to other members of the team.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:
- The post holder is responsible for actively participating as part of the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) to carry out specific planned treatments/interventions within tested areas of competency which help to improve client's quality of life/functional abilities/wellbeing so enabling them to remain within their own environment, preventing admission to hospital or other residential accommodation as well as facilitating early discharge from hospital.
- To review treatment care plans making necessary modifications prior to reporting back to a qualified staff member.
- To assess for and provide equipment; assess and process requests for minor adaptations.
