Job summary

A rare exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated experienced Band 7 Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to join our fast paced dynamic busy Emergency Department at Pinderfields Hospital.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to be part of our senior clinical nursing team. The role covers day and night shifts over a 7 day period.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the leadership of the department team and the co-ordination of the delivery of patient care within the clinical environment. Through clinical leadership, knowledge of the Trusts core values and utilisation of effective management skills the post holder will ensure that the department team is informed, trained and developed to enable care to be safely and effectively delivered to patients.

This will be achieved through appropriate deployment and supervision of staff and practice/professional development.

This role will operate within the clinical governance framework of the organisation and will work in a collaborative approach with the multidisciplinary team in the interests of developing and promoting high quality patient care.
