Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Clinical Effectiveness Administrator to join the Clinical Effectiveness Team. The role involves supporting various clinical governance and quality improvement functions to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care across the Trust. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support for key Clinical Effectiveness programmes, working closely with clinicians, managers, and governance colleagues. This fixed-term opportunity has the potential to become a substantive role.

Essential criteria

  • GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C

Desirable criteria

  • Nationally recognised IT qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative and/or facilitative environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing secretariat support to meetings
  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of a range of healthcare IT systems
  • Practical and Intellectual Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills, including high level of accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and/or as part of a team.
  • Sound time- management skills - able to manage own workload and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Requirement for periods of prolonged concentration
