Role summary
This role is for a Registered Nurse to join the Health Visiting service, working with children aged 0-5 and their families in a community setting. You will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, working under the supervision of Senior Health Visitors. Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within a progressive universal model of service delivery.
- Deliver core and targeted services to children aged 0-5 and their families in partnership with other agencies.
- Carry out specific nursing care for patients, families/carers under the supervision of Senior Health Visitors.
- Work in partnership with the Multi-Disciplinary Team and other agencies to ensure excellent standards of care.
- Support the team, department, and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values.
Essential criteria
- Completed Studies at Diploma/Degree level
- RN/RMN/RSCN/RNLD
- Current NMC registration
- An insightful and effective communicator both written and verbally
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently and prioritise
- Ability to engage others and work in partnership across organisational boundaries
- Support group facilitation (clients, peers and partnership colleagues)
- IT skills
- Ability to work flexibly
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to use client feedback to inform practice
- Relevant experience of working as a registered nurse
