My name is Valerie Dixon I am the Professional Lead - [contact details removed] & Training Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy Department based at Woodpecker House, Hellesdon Hospital. I am privileged to be part of a very hardworking, friendly, and committed team of people in providing a Mental Health pharmacy service to patients within NSFT.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated person with a positive outlook to join our team, training towards the Certificate of Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice Apprenticeship.
The role is a 2-year, fixed term course, blending work and study through the UEA for the certificate, with the end goal of seeing you become a registered professional with the GPhC.
You will be based at Hellesdon Hospital initially in the dispensary which provides a high-quality pharmacy service. The dispensary currently supplies medication to a variety of wards including adult acute, dementia and complexity in later life, child and adolescent and forensic services.
