Job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Sister/Charge Nurse band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in Ward 308 at the Royal Derby Hospital.
308 is a 30 bedded ward caring for vascular and urology and general surgery inpatients . Caring for both elective and emergency patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated leader who wants to develop in their career. You will work alongside the existing ward team ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
The successful individual will assist the Ward Manager to provide effective and visible leadership and will be expected to drive the unit forward.
Applicants must hold a current NMC registration, and have demonstrable post registration experience with band 5 experience, preferably with vascular and urology experience.

The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, be dynamic and strive for excellence in all aspects of the role. They will need to act as a role model and maintain and uphold high standards of professional behaviour.
