An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Forensic Acute Ward of Royal Cornhill Hospital for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their management and clinical skills in a Deputy Charge Nurse position.

The post holder will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services . The post holder will, provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a therapeutic environment and underpinned by risk assessment and management that will maximise the individual’s potential.

As a pivotal member of the team you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), have a good understanding of risk assessment / management, current legislation and be able to lead and motivate others within the team.
