Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the IT Clinical Systems Directorate as part of the Community team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying enhancements to existing system functionality, ensuring solutions are safe, effective, and aligned with clinical and operational requirements. You will work closely with end users to analyse change requests, facilitate discussions, and build consensus on changes to clinical workflows. A key focus is driving continuous improvement through software enhancements and playing a significant role in planning, configuration, testing, and validation of software upgrades. The successful candidate will support and maintain a portfolio of Epic and non-Epic solutions.
Essential criteria
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Post qualification Masters degree, or significant experience in Healthcare equivalent to Masters degree level
- Evidence of further clinical training in a specific clinical field
- Accreditation in at least one Epic modules
- Evidence of configuration expertise used in an Enterprise solution
Desirable criteria
- ISEB Business Analysis Diploma
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- Previous Experience
- Proven experience of clinical environment and delivery of clinical care or significant experience in a clinical analyst role and within a systems development environment preferably within the NHS or health care related field
- Healthcare system design and configuration experience
- Significant experience of interpreting business/clinical requirements and considering the impact on IT services
- Demonstrable experience documenting and mapping workflows as well as the results of the clinical analysis
- Demonstrable experience of producing qualitative work in very aggressive timescales
- Experience in change management with respect to the relationship between clinician, business processes, risk management and solution functional capabilities.
- Skills/ Knowledge/ Ability
- Experience in the analysis and design of clinical solutions to meet clinicians' and business requirements.
- Ability to plan ahead, priorities and manage change in a formally controlled yet, pragmatic fashion
- Able to plan ahead and prioritise workloads and resource them in response to changing demands and requirements
- Proven ability to present a range of highly technical and highly complex information clearly and concisely in potentially contentious situations.

Job summary
