Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Maintain professional accountability by upholding regulatory body standards for safe, evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with Senior Midwives to identify training needs and develop high-quality education programmes.
- Lead on Midwife induction and support the delivery of the Preceptorship programme.
- Coordinate ongoing clinical and professional development opportunities for nursing and midwifery staff.
- Ensure safe and effective clinical practice through training, coaching, and support.
- Promote excellence in communication, compassion, and personalised care to enhance patient experience.
Essential criteria
- Registered Midwife
- Degree Level qualification
- Current NMC professional registration
- Band 6 experience
- Experience supporting education in the clinical setting
- Evidence of further and continuous professional development (CPD)

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Practice Education Facilitator to join our maternity team and play a key role in strengthening clinical education, supporting staff development and enhancing the experience of women, birthing people and families.
In this exciting role, you will:
Maintain professional accountability by upholding the standards of practice set by the relevant regulatory body for your profession, ensuring safe, evidence-based and compassionate care.
Work collaboratively with Senior Midwives to identify training needs and shape high-quality education programmes. This includes leading on Midwife induction, supporting delivery of the Preceptorship programme, and coordinating ongoing clinical and professional development opportunities for nursing and midwifery staff.
Take responsibility for key areas of impact, including:
