Job summary
We have
an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Cardiographer in Nottingham University
Hospitals NHS Trust to join the Diagnostic Cardiac Unit (Cardiology) at City
Campus, Hucknall Road, Nottingham. You will be responsible for providing
technical support to Cardiac Physiologists while working alongside Assistant
Technical Officers and the administration team. You will support the processing
of electronic referrals from NUH specialties and GP practices, use Trust IT
systems to retrieve patient diagnostic referrals, and liaise with clinicians,
physiologists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate
and organise patient tests. You will also be responsible for performing routine
cardiac diagnostic tests, supporting the management of cardiac diagnostic
waiting times and assisting with the booking process to ensure patients receive
timely and efficient care.
