An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 senior nurses to join our
Surgical Assessment Unit as Band 6 nurses. We are looking for enthusiastic,
motivated and compassionate individual interested in working in a
fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment.
Our unit provides assessment and care for patients referred from the
Emergency Department, SSDEC, clinical areas and SPOA. Working within this
diverse and dynamic setting, you will have the opportunity to develop your
clinical skills and your experience across a range of surgical
specialties.
We are committed to the ongoing development of our staff, and the role
provides an opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and
skills with the support of a dedicated team. You will be
expected to demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills, with the
ability to prioritise your workload while effectively supporting and
managing the wider team.
We are looking for someone who is committed to their ongoing professional
development and who is enthusiastic about contributing to quality improvement
and delivering high standards of patient-centred care.
The role rotates across days, nights, weekends and 12-hour
shifts, therefore a flexible approach to working is essential.
