This is a fixed-term Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist role within the Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy Service in Solihull. Essential criteria
- * Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification
- * Current registration with Health Care Professions Council or eligible for registration no later than September 2026.
- * Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
- *Undergraduate clinical experience in relevant clinical areas
- * Competence in the management of communication disorders
- * Knowledge of assessment tools relevant to the client group
- * Knowledge of a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions (relevant to the client group)
- * Understanding of the roles of other professionals (relevant to the client group)
- * Awareness of the principles of clinical governance /audit
- * Awareness of communication, cultural and communication-impairment issues of clients from ethnic minorities.
- * Sound knowledge of IT

- * Valid UK driving license and use of a car is essential
