Role summary
An experienced Domestic Supervisor is needed to join the Domestic Services department. The role involves ensuring high standards of cleaning within a healthcare environment, particularly overseeing patient discharge green cleans. The successful candidate will supervise a team of domestic staff, manage work schedules, and ensure adherence to trust policies and safety standards. Flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude are essential for this role.
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in leadership (or equivalent)
- Previous cleaning experience at a supervisory level
- Previous experience of cleaning
Desirable criteria
- Previous cleaning experience at a supervisory level within a healthcare environment
- Previous experience of cleaning within a healthcare environment
- An understanding of C.O.S.H.H. regulations
- Health and safety basic knowledge
- An understanding of the operating of cleaning machinery
- Excellent Communication skills
- Basic data inputting either manually or using a computer/tablet
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent organisation skills
- Other

- Ability and willingness to undertake further training as necessary
