Clinical Nurse Specialist posts within Haematology

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Haematology clinical nurse specialist (CNS) team. Significant investment has allowed the team to be expanded to 4 fulltime nurses; hence you will be joining a dynamic and supportive team of ACNS and CNS posts holders. These posts are outpatient based with roles including providing CNS support, nurse led follow up clinics, pre-assessment clinics, participation in MDT meetings and practical procedures such as bone marrow biopsy.

Initial job plans will be appropriate to current skill level with training available and encouraged to ensure you have the appropriate practical skills, competencies and knowledge to undertake a CNS role.

The CNSs will work closely with the 2 ACNS post holders and alongside the consultant team.

The Haematology department provides care for patients with myeloid malignancies e.g. AML, myelodysplasia; lymphoid malignancies e.g lymphomas and CLL, myelo
