Role summary
This Band 6 Registered Nurse role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within an inpatient intermediate care setting. You will lead and support a team, using clinical expertise for patient safety and advocating for patients. The role requires supervising staff, contributing to continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with CQC standards. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and carers, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

- RN Adult on NMC Register
- Evidence of CPD

- Practice Assessor qualification
- Leadership Education
- Previous experience as a Band 5 nurse, including shift co-ordinating
- Previous experience as a Band 6 nurse
- Communication with Multi-disciplinary team, Face to Face, written, telephone and verbal communication
- Understands the concept of quality and their role in improving safety, clinical outcomes and the patient experience
- Genuine interest in care of older person/ intermediate care
- Ability to work well and lead others while under pressure
- Understanding the concept of quality and their role in improving safety, clinical outcomes and the patient experience
- Demonstrate a kind and compassionate demeanour at all times
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in the care of older people and intermediate care
- Sound clinical assessment skills
- Experience of recognising and responding to the deteriorating patient
- Experience in completing CHC checklists
- Expertise in particular skills and evidence of how you developed them and use them in your current role for example Clinical Assessment Skills, Leadership Skills
