Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Adult Registered Nurse or Registered Nursing Associate to join the vibrant team at Oldham Emergency Department. Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, safe care to patients.
- Enhance clinical skills in a supportive environment.
- Maintain exceptional communication skills and outstanding documentation standards.
- Coordinate workload and supervise team members to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
- Use reflective practice to continuously improve patient care standards.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent
- Previous health care experience
- Demonstrates evidence based clinical knowledge
- Has an interest in Emergency Care
- Post NMC registration experience
- Evidence of sound clinical competence
- Ability to problem solve
- Communicates succinctly, clearly, and accurately both verbally and in writing
- IT Skills
- Ability to coordinate your workload and supervise members of the team, ensuring high quality, safe and effective patient care
- Ability to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
- ILS / AIMS
- Experience of the use of clinical systems
- Demonstrate initiative to proactively problem solve with a solution focus
- Basic knowledge of policy relating to critical care, risk management and infection control
