Role summary
This is a managerial role for a Chief Paediatric Audiologist within a small, friendly team at the Children's Crystal Development Centre. The successful candidate will line manage three Band 6 audiologists and work with children and young adults with complex needs, including fitting hearing aids for newly diagnosed newborns. The role involves behavioural assessment and monitoring of children of all ages. The team works closely with a Consultant Audiovestibular physician and hearing support services.

- BSC or MSC in audiology

- has experience of VRA testing
- Registered

Main duties of the job
Chief Paediatric Audiologist - Band 7 This exciting role is working within a small friendly Paediatric Audiology team. The post is based at the Children's Crystal Development Centre. A multidisciplinary team centre, including community paediatricians, children's ENT, children's physiotherapy and occupational therapy, for children within the Croydon area. The post holder will be involved in the behavioural assessment and monitoring of children of all ages.We have a Consultant Audiovestibular physician who performs the aetiological investigations on our caseload and have a close working relationship with the hearing support services for Croydon.
We are open to flexible working hours.
