Role summary
This role is for a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist to join an award-winning and expanding clinical pharmacy team. Key responsibilities
- Participate in a structured rotational program to gain experience and training in all aspects of pharmacy practice.
- Study for the General Practice Diploma and undertake postgraduate training.
- Supervise and check the work of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, and other staff.
- Allocate, supervise, and check the work of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, and other staff as required.
- Give professional advice on pharmaceutical matters to medical, nursing, and other professional staff.
Essential criteria
- UK pharmacy experience
- Masters Degree MPharm (or equivalent)
- Competency assessed and examined professional registration with the GPhC
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
- Able to undertake Diploma in Pharmacy Practice and independent prescribing course
- Able to communicate clearly, verbally and electronically
- Good Basic Clinical pharmacy knowledge
- Able to apply clinical knowledge at consultant level
- Reliable
