This role is for an exceptionally motivated and forward-thinking midwife to join the Education Team at QCCH. It involves leading and implementing education training and development strategies for the maternity service, supporting staff clinically and through formal training. Essential criteria
- Registered Midwife
- First degree
- Evidence of post registration education activity.
- Mentorship Qualification/SSSA preparation and Assessor experience
Desirable criteria
- Has attained or is working towards a master's degree in midwifery or relevant alternative.

- PROMPT Trainer
- NLS Trainer
- Leadership qualification
- Significant experience as a practicing midwife.
- Experience working as a mentor/practice assessor/preceptorship support
- Experience teaching in a variety of settings
- Proven experience in support of trained staff.
- Proven enthusiasm towards teaching\sharing knowledge.
- Evidence of applying current research to practice.
- Highly developed IT skills
- Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
