Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at Wharfedale Recovery Hub. You will manage long-term conditions, falls prevention, and facilitate timely hospital discharges, working holistically with patients using health coaching and self-management approaches. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at Wharfedale Recovery Hub.
Wharfedale Recovery Hub provides short-term rehabilitation for individuals who no longer require acute hospital care but are not yet able to be supported safely at home. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation to adults, supporting their recovery and preparation for discharge home.
The role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including the management of long-term conditions, falls prevention, and facilitating timely hospital discharges. This diversity provides excellent opportunities to develop a broad and transferable skill set.
You will work holistically with patients, using health coaching and self-management approaches to support them in achieving their personal goals.
