Role summary
We are seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses to join the team at Broadmoor High Security Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality, safe care to complex patients with challenging individual needs. The post holder will carry out duties as designated by the nurse in charge, report on patient conditions, and maintain the ward environment's orderliness, hygiene, and safety. Key responsibilities

- Undertake routine clerical duties.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse Mental Health on NMC Register (sub part 1 RN3 or RNMH, sub part 2 RN4)
- Able to produce a current portfolio of evidence: which concords with NMC Revalidation process and demonstrates compliance.
- Able to participate in a Preceptorship Programme.
- A General experience around mental health gained through a Nursing University Programme or work experience.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in mental health nursing practice and current trends within mental health nursing
- Act in such a manner as outlined in the Code of Professional Conduct and which meets the requirements of the Mental Health Act
- Maintain & Demonstrate awareness of professional and organisational developments.
- Emotional resilience

- Able to deal with complex interrelated information and activities
- Excellent team player and ability to facilitate partnership working
- Motivated and committed to maintain and promote high standards of nursing care.

Desirable criteria
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- ENB 770 or equivalent in Specialist Field
- Mentorship in Practice I.e. ENB 998

- Relevant post registration health care qualifications

- Previous experience of working in a care environment
- General life experience/skills
- Evidence of being an Inspirational Leader
- Display a leadership and role model style that is consistent with organisational expectations and values and which secures the conditions under which clinical staff do their best work.
