Role summary
This is a leadership role for a dedicated and experienced Chief Audiologist within a dynamic paediatric audiology service. The successful candidate will manage complex paediatric caseloads, contribute to service development, and collaborate with senior management to improve care pathways. Essential criteria
- BSc Audiology or Diploma in Audiology / HND MPPM with BAAT/BAA parts I and II or equivalent
- Registered with AHCS/HCPC or equivalent experience
- M level credits or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- BSL stage 1
- Trainers / assessors award
- Registration with professional bodies BAA /BSA
- Experience in Paediatric Audiology including experience of specialised assessments / rehabilitation e.g. BAHD, CROS aids, infant hearing aid fittings
- Paediatric hearing aid fitting
- Diagnostic OAE's
- Working in a multi professional / agency team
- Line management and Managing conflict
- Change management and Research
- Bone Anchored Hearing Devices/implants and Cochlear Implants
- ABR / Diagnostic testing
- Vestibular assessment and rehab
- Tinnitus counselling
- Knowledge and Skills

A background in paediatric audiology and complex case management
