Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Paediatric Renal team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse withing the renal dialysis nursing team.
The renal dialysis service is one of 12 centres in the UK caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, requiring renal replacement therapies including Haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. We are seeking a motivated compassionate leader to support and inspire a multidisciplinary team, drive clinical excellence, and uphold the highest standards of care within the renal service including peritoneal and haemodialysis.
Main duties of the job
Leeds Children's Hospital is one of the UKs largest specialist Children's Hospitals offering a wide range of treatments and care for children from birth to young adulthood and beyond.
Our Paediatric Renal service is one of 12 centres in the UK providing renal replacement therapies and transplantation. We provide acute and elective inpatient services and manage a large number of patients within the Leeds childrens hospital outpatient department.
