NHS GGC is seeking to appoint a Clinical Scientist to act as a Medical Physics Expert and Radiation Protection Adviser within the Health Physics Service. The person appointed will contribute to radiation protection services provided by Health Physics to hospitals throughout the West and Borders of Scotland.

An essential aspect of this role will be a strong involvement in artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnostic radiology. The successful candidate will be expected to act as lead MPE for AI initiatives within diagnostic radiology for the Health Board, driving the development, implementation, and oversight of AI technologies to support clinical practice. Experience in the application of AI in a healthcare setting, particularly in diagnostic radiology, will be highly advantageous.
