This role is for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Service in Peterborough. The successful candidate will provide high-quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment, working as part of a multi-professional team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and developing specialist physiotherapy programmes for complex needs, managing a caseload, and supervising junior staff and students. - Degree or equivalent, e.g. BSc, MSc or Diploma entry level qualification into the Physiotherapy profession.
- Current HCPC registration
- Documented evidence of own continuing professional development
- Member of CSP
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel independently around Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area meeting required timescales. A Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Kneel, bend & stoop, and work in cramped environments
- Move and manoeuvre people and equipment
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Standard keyboard skills and ability to communicate through IT using packages such as Word
- Time management and prioritisation skills.
- Understanding of clinical supervision
- Knowledge and Understanding

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist, to join the Community Rehabilitation Service.
The Senior Physiotherapist role is based in Peterborough and the surrounding area. You would be working as part of a community-based therapy team providing high quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment.
This post will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to consolidate their community, clinical and managerial skills. You will be working within a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistants, and alongside Nursing and Mental Health colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team-work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.
