Role summary

As a Donor Centre Administrator, you will help NHS Blood and Transplant deliver life-saving blood donations. You will build strong relationships with donors, manage appointment schedules, and provide an outstanding experience for visitors. This role involves managing donor records, appointments, and centre administration accurately and efficiently. It's an opportunity to contribute to patient care and develop specialist skills.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in Customer Service, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD)
  • Experience of maintaining extensive records in both paper and electronic format in a way that allows others to quickly retrieve information
  • Experience of working and complying with standard procedures and confidential information
  • Experience of working in a high paced, customer focussed environment
  • Knowledge of organising and prioritising a busy and varied workload
  • Good working knowledge of Information Technology, covering a range of Microsoft applications or equivalent packages

Job Summary

As a Donor Centre Administrator, you will play a vital role in helping NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) deliver life-saving blood donations to patients who need them. You will build strong relationships with donors, manage appointment schedules, and provide an outstanding experience for everyone visiting or contacting the donor centre.
