Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join a friendly team within Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership. The role involves clinical assessment and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions in both community and acute settings. You will work independently as an autonomous practitioner, building links with GPs and Consultants, and contribute to service projects and audit. The position is full-time for 12 months, requiring an enthusiastic and well-rounded HCPC registered Physiotherapist with UK MSK experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Clinically assess and treat patients referred with Musculoskeletal conditions by their GP or Self Referring and Post-operative patients referred via Orthopaedics.
  • Work independently as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Build strong links with GP's and Consultants.
  • Work within a team across Physiotherapy outpatient services in the locality.
  • Be involved in service projects and audit to ensure high quality, evidence-based practice.
  • Assist in the supervision of Band 5 Physiotherapists, Assistants and Physiotherapy Students (may be required).

An exciting opportunity has become available within Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) to join our innovative and friendly team of Physiotherapists as a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist. There are several opportunities all 37.5 hrs a week fixed term for 12 months. There will be a mix of community MSK and acute MSK settings as required. The roles would involve clinical assessment and treatment of patients referred with Musculoskeletal conditions by their GP or Self Referring and Post-operative patients referred via Orthopaedics.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded HCPC registered Physiotherapist with experience of working in the UK and proven post registration experience in MSK as demonstrated by their CPD portfolio.

The role will involve working independently as an autonomous practitioner and to build strong links with GP's and Consultants therefore evidence of experience in similar roles is desirable.
