Role summary
This WorkWell Coach role involves empowering individuals with health conditions to find, stay in, or return to work. You will provide tailored one-to-one support, conducting holistic assessments and developing personalised action plans. The role requires working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, employment services, and community organisations to connect participants with specialist services and resources. You will manage your own caseload, maintain records, and contribute to the growth of this new service.
Essential criteria
- You will have either: A level 5 foundation degree level of study Or you will be able to demonstrate the equivalent level of experience.
- In addition you will also have Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C/ 4-9 or equivalent in English and Maths)
- You'll need to have recent experience of working with/ supporting neurodivergent individuals as well as lived experience
- A full, valid UK driving licence or a full driving licence issued by an EU country
- Knowledge and Skills
- You'll need have sound communication skills in order to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing whilst being mindful of potential language, learning needs and cultural differences.
- You will need to have a customer focussed approach which is essential to; Provide clients and their families with the best possible experience
- You will need to be able to be able to use IT systems and databases

- Having an awareness of developments within the NHS would be an advantage including Autism peer support worker Capability Framework (2022), local Lived Experience Framework, the NHS England STAMP STOMP health care pledge and Core Capabilities Framework for Supporting Autistic People

As a WorkWell Coach, you'll empower individuals to overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve goals that matter to them.

Using a person-centred, strengths-based approach, you'll support participants to identify what is holding them back, develop personalised action plans and access the right services at the right time.
