Essential criteria
- Degree or equivalent which includes data analysis/presentation, data manipulation, and equivalent knowledge of information systems and data analysis
Desirable criteria
- Experience or qualifications in health informatics post graduate
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Good problem solving skills
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and relational databases with the ability to know which software tool is most appropriate to solve individual problems
- Good understanding of current NHS issues and understanding of reporting requirements
- Experience in an NHS Information / Business performance environment
- Maintaining a range of information systems
- Experience of Information and commissioning environment within the NHS

Job summary

The Deputy Business Support Manager will work closely with operational and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality administrative support is delivered across services, contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives and service improvement initiatives. The role includes line management responsibility for administration staff, oversight of workforce processes such as recruitment, attendance management and appraisals, and coordination of projects and operational activities at both locality and Trust-wide level.
