Role summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer/Scientist to join our friendly team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves undertaking complex vascular investigations, producing accurate reports, and communicating urgent findings to relevant teams. You will also contribute to service development, audit, research, and clinical governance, while supervising and supporting junior staff. The ideal candidate will have UK experience, AVS accreditation, and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Essential criteria
- AVS accreditation with the College and Society for Clinical Vascular Science
- Vascular postgraduate Certificate/MSc Vascular ultrasound
- Awareness of all legislation relevant to the post.
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- Experience scanning DVT, Carotid and vascular scans on both inpatient and outpatients
- The ability to interpret scans and make an appropriate diagnosis from a range of multiple possibilities

With new and passionate Ultrasound Leads driving service development, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer with UK experience, AVS accreditation and registration with the College and Society for Clinical Vascular Science to join our friendly and forward-looking team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about their work, committed to achieving excellence and providing the best patient care. You will be part of a great team of diverse professionals that are equally passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience in line with our Trust Objectives. You must be available to work at either of our Trust sites - Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.
