Essential criteria

- Knowledge of relevant administration systems.
- Excellent standard of customer interaction and verbal communication.
- Familiar with working in an office environment.
- Excellent communication skills including an excellent standard of written and spoken English.

Job summary

Due to the implementation of a new IT system, we are looking
for a number of enthusiastic Screening Officers to join the CSAS team on a
temporary basis. The team of over 100 staff provides a pivotal role in the
National Call and Recall service for Cervical Cancer Screening. The Screening
Officer is a key role in ensuring that all participants of the programme are
called for screening and receive their results.
This role is based at the Lister House office in Gildersome,
Leeds.
Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible for:
- To co-ordinate and ensure high quality
administrative support for the Cervical Screening service within North of
England Commissioning Support (NECS).
- The Screening Officer will ensure allocated
cases are processed in line with the Work Instructions.
- The Screening Officer will be representing NECS
in delivering call and recall provision nationally and will also support the
wider aspects of the cervical screening programme e.g. cease and delays;
incidents; comms; cytology laboratory results etc.
