An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic , self-motivated Respiratory Associate Practitioner join our busy department. This post will be split between the PRH/RSH site and the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) which will be based at Hollinswood House, Stafford Park.
The CDC is a national initiative to improve diagnostic service provision. The aim is to increase diagnostic capacity and reduce health inequality by providing a single point of access to a range of services. Your role will be part of the Cardio-respiratory Department.
The successful applicant will need experience in dealing with the general public, ideally in a healthcare setting. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential. As is the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, in the sometimes challenging role.
You will be performing respiratory diagnostic tests including Pulmonary Function tests and supporting the CPAP service. You will support diagnostic testing and work with a multidisciplinary team on the Adult breathlessness and Children's and Young Persons Pathways at the CDC.You will also compliment our other support staff in some of our basic Cardiorespiratory tests. You will be supported to complete your ARTP associate examination level 1 or L4 Healthcare Science associate App
